Week 3: more fun with flickr

I've spent part of the day exploring more of what flickr can do. I added more photos, edited the photos and created sets. It's been real fun downloading and moving things around. I just may have to get my own digital camera. I may have found a new hobby.



I've also looked at the various mashups. Some I like and some I don't. Some are fun and I could spend a lot of time just playing with them.

Week 3: pixer

This is my attempt at downloading a picture that I edited. I used pixer to reduce the size of the picture and crop the left side of it. I think I will need to practice this a few more times to feel a bit more comfortable with the program. I can see how this and other similar programs could be very helpful.

Week 2: task #4 Internet Safety

It was interesting to read the different websites devoted to internet safety. The information is so basic and makes a great deal of sense. I wish more of our patrons would take the time to read about how they should use this wonderful technology and then use it.
